Hsini

Hsini is part of a big family from the village of Ramlia, a traditional Moroccan village which still today is without water and electricity. Hsini has been driving tourists in Morocco for 10 years and fluently speaks English, French & Spanish as well as his local Berber dialect and Moroccan Arabic.

Always smiling and a skillful driver, Hsini is great for those "Off Road" adventures if you want to get away from mainstream tourism to see the real Morocco.

Chaouki

Chaouki was born in a small town in the High Atlas Mountains. He has worked in tourism since he was 12 years old in order to support his studies. More recently, he gained driving experience with another tour operator before joining our team. Fluent in both English and French, he stays fit playing regular sports and is passionate about football.

Professional and reliable as a driver, he is also a licenced guide. He has a lot of life experience and is exceptionally reliable and responsible. A tour with Chaouki will provide an outstanding experience with lots of fun moments.

Hssaine

Born a nomad, Hssaine moved with his family to the desert town of Erfoud where he was educated. He then graduated from Meknes University where he chose to study English because his hobby was learning languages. This is one of the reasons he loves working in tourism, to practise his languages and discuss traditions.

After working for a large hotel chain he went on to manage luxury desert camps before we were lucky enough to have him join our team.

Hachem

Hachem was born in the medina of Marrakech and he lived in the old part of the city throughout his childhood and adolescence. Married with three young children, he is a real family man.

Hachem loves travelling around Morocco and meeting different people as well as presenting the culture the history of Morocco and its people.

Lhousayn

Lhousayn was born into a nomadic way of life in the caves of the M’Goun Mountains in the Boumalne Dades area of Morocco. He is a licenced and experienced, graduate of the Mountain Guide School. With a passion for football and food, he is an excellent chef and particularly loves driving our Cooking Tours.

Fluent in English and French and with a warm engaging personality, a tour with Lhou is always a fun and happy experience.

Mustapha

Mustapha comes from a small Berber village called Taftechna, near Zagora and grew up in a family who combined agriculturalism and nomadism. He graduated from University in Linguistics before moving into tourism which for him is a passion, a way of life and an intercultural field where he enjoys meeting people from all over the world and sharing cultures.

Humble and charming, Mustapha will take great care of you.

Linda

The owner of So Morocco, Linda is also your point of contact in the UK office and will personally oversee every aspect of your tour. Linda grew up in Africa and is passionate about African cultural travel. With a background in Project Management and Corporate Event Coordination, she began arranging immersive holidays in 2011. Firstly in Kenya and then Morocco, she has an exceptionally strong vision of the tourism experience she wishes to provide and from these roots, So Morocco has developed as a boutique business, offering high-end service and creative ideas.

Linda’s Bio

Burcin

Born in Turkey, raised in Italy, Burcin in now resident in Morocco. Her spirit was enchanted by its ancestral music, colourful streets, flavourful food and creative, kind people. Since living and learning her way in the cauldron of Marrakech, where she feels a freedom amongst so many cultures, her career has been in the tourism sector.

Now she contributes to the success of So Morocco with content creation, administrative projects and a voice of reason.

Hmad

Hmad, our charismatic local manager was born in the dunes to a nomadic family, and has been involved in desert tourism since it began. As well as being a qualified guide and driver, Hmad is a highly experienced tour manager and he manages the tour logistics with professionalism and skill.

Well educated, artistic and musical, he will entertain you with camp fire stories and "Azur," the brand of desert blues his band plays so well.

James

Art graduate and fashion designer, James has worked with us since we first launched. He was heavily involved in the conceptual style of So Morocco and created the Moroccan carpet inspired logo. Everything related to images, videos and branding has his stamp on it.

Having decided to create a new website and wanting to work closely with someone who had a truly creative vision, James was the obvious answer.
